Certified nurse assistants provide patient care directed at the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of elderly, disabled, or injured individuals. These nurses have complete a State approved program and passed the written exam as well as the supervised training program.
Our Caretakers are State registered and experienced in providing personal care. They are registered but not certified by the State. However we will be providing in-house training as well as consistent supervision.
CHHA personnel have completed extra training after certified as an CNA. They are specifically trained to provide one to one personal care at the patient's residence.
We have a strong core belief that our clients face a daily decision. They can choose dependence or independence. Independence is a daily struggle, but it keeps the mind and the body alive and vibrant. Dependence, on the other hand, breeds dependency. When anyone feels independent, they typically feel that their lives have meaning.
At SeniorComfortLiving.com, we understand the various issues the seniors and their family face everyday. First of all, we would like to foster independence and help the seniors to feel the best of themselves. For example, a senior may enjoy doing gardening in their backyard. It may be hard to do it alone. Our caregiver may bring them the soil and tool, also help them to do it safely, so they can get the gardening done. If our clients get to the stage that they need more or total assistance, we will send the caregivers trained at the higher level to help them.
Secondly, we are conscientious of the financial burden the senior and the family bear once the senior need a companion or a caregiver. Therefore, we come up with a program that can ease the cost of caregiving but still receive the quality of care they need.
